With its adherence to a total design philosophy, Budji+Royal takes inspiration from nature in all their projects, enveloping them in a modern, contemporary skin.

Budji Layug said, “Design is a way of life. It is something that you live with daily. Whether it’s with your home or any part of your life, design is very important to us. It spells individuality, sophistication and enjoyment. The most important thing about our design is the enjoyment part of it; for our clients and for us, too, in the whole team.”

Thus, the end result is the striking 1,500-square-meter (sq m) clubhouse showcasing an iconic interior-design execution—naturalist and modernist in approach—that’s set amid lush greenery. “When we were tapped to do this project with H1 Architecture and Aecom Singapore, we were very excited,” Arch. Royal Pineda related. “For this, we wanted to achieve a sense of tranquility and tropicality, to bring out that organic feeling, taking in the beauty of the surroundings and the openness of the sky.”

The Enclave Alabang’s expansive clubhouse with its tropical resort feel features a relaxing lap pool for an invigorating dip and a fitness gym for all your workout needs. There are private function rooms, the perfect setting for memorable experiences and milestone celebrations. “The important thing is the experience of having openness, lightness and the functions of daily living are actually very in sync on the inside and outside,” Budji said. “When you have a structure, you don’t want to block and box in your rooms. You want to open from one area to another.”

A selection of generous lot sizes ranging from 300 to over 500 sq m, such as the Main Avenue Through Lots, Park View Lots, Corner Lots, Fortune Lots and Premiere Lots are proportioned to your needs and located at key phases of the development. “We needed to relate well with the location and the clientele—a high-end market. We needed to make it something more different in introducing a lifestyle. That’s why when we did the design, we were talking about lanai living,” Budji continued. “What we’re trying to keep is the extension and connectivity of spaces, also relates to opening it up visually and physically, that is why we have sliding doors that open up fully so that we can air the whole room and ventilate it properly because definitely with the heat of a tropical setting like this, you want the house to be able to breathe also.”
